I am grateful to the people in my life. Today I especially think of all those who helped me and am grateful for life. Peace and all good!
My thought on the widow mite comes from a comment I heard years ago my a Benedictine priest. His thought was that the widow was a prefigure of Jesus. The widow gives all she had, and so would Jesus in a few days. He would give all that was his to give. So the widow is a Jesus type in that she gives all she has. She prepares all of us for what Jesus would do.
